So once again Sony has their playstation network ha led again. The only difference is that this what a much more serious hack. Meaning, whoever did this hack (geohotz is suspected) hacked deep enough to crash the entire network and get user info; including credit card info, billing address, etc. This was one of the most massive cyber theft operations ever because the hacker collected over 70 million user information. And work is that the hackers obtained 2.2 million credit cards (out of the 70 million) from the users info on the PSN network and are selling them as a list for more than $100,000. Although Sony claims that all of the credit information was encrypted, but somehow the hackers got some hmmmm. Sony decided instead of creating another patch Sony is building the whole network from scratch. Many customers are infuriated with Sony one of the reasons being that the network has been down for 8 days now. I wonder if Microsoft hired someone to do this. Think about it they were already paying Activision to screw over Sony for the online connectivity for Black Ops. This way Microsoft can have a monopoly (almost) over the industry instead of just a particular franchise. Well I hope you liked this post. Spread the word about us!!!
So this year is the new year where the newest and “best” developed handheld gaming devices are created. Let’s briefly look into them:
Starting with the new Sony PSP. This new handheld device from Sony is on of the best yet. There is 16GB built in memory so you can download movies, music, tv shows, and games. It has a beautiful 3.8″ display, a 16:9 widescreen ratio, and has a resolution of 480×272 pixels (16.7 million colors). It also has built in bluetooth so you can connect for favorite accessory; suppose a headset for Skype chat, yes this device offers Skype chat. The best feature of this device by far is that it now has 3G support by a company in Japan! So you are not limited to Wi-fi anymore, which is a BIG feature.
Now, I’m not a big fan of Nintendo but I’ll give you some features. The first is that this 3DS is 2x the speed of the DS, and it comes with a 2GB micro SD card that you can replace at any time. It also has a camera which is for 3D photography? Anyway the last exciting feature is that if you under the age of 6, you can loose your vision and if you are above the age of 6 you are forced to take 15 minute breaks because if you don’t then you will loose your vision also. Good job Nintendo.
The last mobile device to talk about would be Microsoft’s. Oh wait a minute, they don’t have a mobile device. Well, we all wonder why Microsoft doesn’t have a mobile device. Perhaps there are “fine tuning” the device and are observing how the other companies, such as Nintendo and Sony, are developing their devices. Microsoft has had a HUGE success in the gaming realm with the might Xbox 360. I guess we just wait and see for ourselves. By the way the picture I fake, haha.
