Personally, I have not been a great follower of the Tomb Raider series. I believe I played some of the older games a few times many, many
years ago, but other than that I never played them. That being said, I really hope I do this review justice to you other more loyal 
Tomb Raider fans. I was very excited for the release of this game mainly because, well, you know. I was honestly blown away by the 
visuals and sound details of this game (I played it for the Xbox360). I also must applaud the writers, for the storyline was pretty 
phenomenal.

PLOT:
This game is supposed to take place well before we all knew her as a Tomb Raider, just a young girl eager for adventure. This fresh 
out of college, archaeologist forms a crew and finds a ship to go search for the ruins of the Yamatai civilization ran by a ruthless 
queen named Himiko. Legend said that Himiko possessed mystical powers that could control the nature around her. Just by mere coincidence 
it turned out that the civilization was located within the Dragons Triangle. The Dragons Triangle is the bigger sister to the Bermuda 
Triangle, as it displays it's mighty power against Laura and her ship. The crew and the ship crash lands on one of the islands within the
Dragons Triangle, they all soon learn that they are not alone on this island. It's up to Laura to find her way through the island and 
solve the mystery of the legendary queen Himiko.

GAMEPLAY:
Throughout the entire game you play in the third person, with the exceptional cinematic event (which you cannot control your character 
during that time). I feel the layout of the keys feel comfortable in your hands; they are also easy to remember. I don't really have any
complaints against the gameplay what so ever, its solid throughout the entire time. What I loved most about the gameplay was how Lara
took advantage of her surroundings, the possibilities seemed endless. I loved the way she built tools using pre-existing equipment on the
island to accomplish her goals. Her determination and wittiness seemed to make her successful at what she did. The game was very entertaining
as it keeps a nice balance between solving puzzles, fighting enemies, and following side quests that actually tied into the larger story line 
in a small and peculiar way. Now, about multiplayer gameplay, that is a whole other story. The multiplayer gameplay gave me very vivid flashbacks
to the Dead Space 2 multiplayer. In other words, it wasn't a good experience. To be fair, Tomb Raider's multiplayer gameplay is better than
Dead Space's 2 multiplayer, but, I just think that these kind of games are built to have a multiplayer component. Therefore the downside is,
once you play through the single player you are pretty much finished with the game. Therefore $60 is a bit pricey, BUT, in this case I do whole-
heart-idly believe this game is worth the $60. 

PROS:
-Great single player gameplay
-Cinematic sequences are phenomenal 
-Story line is greatly developed 
-Gameplay and controls are solid
-Amazing visuals and sounds

CONS:
-Multiplayer gameplay isn't too good
-The value of the game is limited to singleplayer (unless DLC packs are released)
-There buggy moments in the game

VERDICT:
Simply, honestly, get the game. It's worth the $60. I am looking forward to DLCs for this game, these kind of games are notorious for DLCs. 
You may be the kind of person that likes the multiplayer gameplay, so don't not get it because I gave the multiplayer a bad wrap. The game 
is definetly amazing and one of a kind, and Lara is absolutely stunning. This game was just outstanding. Buy it.
